HOW DO I CARE FOR MY CLONES AFTER I RECEIVE THEM?
Our clones are kept under 24 hours per day of light. We recommend that you walk them back 15 mins per day until they are acclimated to natural light to avoid the triggering early.
Our clones are hardened from our incubator under a mild 75-degrees Fahrenheit and 60% rH. If you put them straight outside in the heat, some or all may die. Acclimate them in the shade or in a bump room for best performance.
DO YOUR CLONES HERMAPHRODITE?
**Please Note: No strain is immune from hermaphroditism.
In order to avoid hermaphrodites, be conscious of light leaks and stress in your environment
like nutrient burn, erratic pH and loss of turgor pressure due to underwatering.
Plants that are stressed are naturally inclined to generate male pollen sacks and then sometimes seeds. We take every precaution to avoid this. Nonetheless, any strain can herm and some are more stable than others. We do not carry some strains because their propensity to hermaphrodite is unreasonably high (like Gelato 41). But others that are reasonable risks we do, like OG, Cookies and Wedding Cake.
Hermaphroditism is a spectrum, and some strains are more likely than others to do it. If you are unfamiliar with the strain you are working with, please ask us. We will tell you what we know about its history and conditions and risk. In general, older strains are more reliable than newer
strains. Chasing new strains and fads carries more risk than older workhorse strains. Please
understand this risk in advance.
